We (April and Tim) have had the pleasure of visiting the sanctuary when on trips home to Northern Ireland. A number of our close friends have been actively involved for several years, and it is a labour of love.

Please donate in support of our run (it’s been a hard slog), and if you believe that all animals should have a loving home, and should NEVER be put down because a human has failed them.

We’re delighted that April and Tim have chosen us as their charity in this year’s Brighton Marathon. You can donate via their Justgiving page here.

Sheena Bleakney is completing a 100 mile walk to raise funds for The Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary and the Warzone centre – to be split 50/50 between both Charities. If you would like to join Sheena for the last part of her tremendous mission, and gather much needed funds along the way, please email us on: contact@midantrimanimalsanctuary.org.

The 100 miles are being completed over three days – 16, 17 and 18 February and it is hoped that supporters will join Sheena on the last 10 mile leg of the journey from Lisburn to Belfast on the 18th.  It is anticipated that Sheena will be in Lisburn around 2pm on the Saturday and we will confirm time and location to anyone who is hoping to take part.
