Just a note from Ollie to thank everyone at Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary for taking me in and looking after me until I picked my new Mum & Dad
I now live with 2 collies and a lurcher (who I love), my skin is almost healed now and I don’t scratch so much. The Vet says my hair won’t ever grow back but my Mum & Dad tell me I’m beautiful every day.
I love my new home, I get to the beach now too and the odd tin of salmon and a custard cream are my favourite treats !
I hope all my friends at the Sanctuary get nice homes too some day.

This story is heartbreaking, it fails me to be able to understand how anyone could carry out such a cruel, evil act on an innocent young dog – dogs dont know evil, jealousy or discontent, these are sadly the qualities of a lot of human beings – animals could teach human beings so much!! I truly believe a dog is the best friend we could ever have.

I hope the perpetrator who carried out this evil act against this defenceless animal is prosecuted ( the sentence though would never be tough enough) and that justice can be done for Ollie

You are safe now Ollie – I hope you can get over this and that in time you realise all human beings are not evil – have a long, beautiful + happy life beautiful boy

This story is heartbreaking how could anyone do this to a poor wee dog – they should be charged with attempted murder.

I am glad that Ollie has a new loving home now and will have a happy new year.

I pass the animal sanctuary everyday on my way to work and have in the past year seen a few dogs tied to the gates – WHY how could anyone walk away from their so called best friend
