Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit independent registered charity, which receives no financial support from the government or any other charity body. We rely entirely upon the kindness and generosity of the people of Northern Ireland.
The sanctuary is run by a small staff, aided by dedicated team of volunteers, who are happy to pursue their love of animals in a positive and rewarding way.
Our opening hours are 12 noon to 4:30pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

Oh shes so cute
Ahhh!!1 Buffy is absolutely gorgeous and I’d love to give her a home and all the dogs up there at the sanctuary too. The trouble is that I have a wee Jack Russell who is also 4yrs old and she’s very unpredictable with other dogs, mainly because shes very posessive of me and my husband. We had her and her sister since they were pups at 6wks old. When they reached a year old we had to separate them because they were fighting all the time!! It was awful. So now my mum and dad have one and we have the other, they also have my 11yr old retriever, so we’ve all got our hands full. Thanks for the picture though and send any anytime. The wee collection box I got from you not so long ago is filling up well at my work, apart from that I’m sure I’ll be up soon to see all the dogs and cats again soon. I’ll have to take one out for a walk. Thanks again.

Hey!! I would be interested in finding out more about Buffy. Its for my Granny. She had a Jack Russell for 16 years and she passed away the other day, and now she is lonely without Dusty. Therefore that is why she would prefer an older more mature dog rather than a pup.
