Welcome back Agnes! May 14, 2006
Posted by Jonny Mitchell in : Latest News , add a commentWe’d all like to say a big hello to Agnes, who has just returned to volunteering after a long and difficult illness. There’s nothing like visiting the animals to bring a broad, hearty smile to Agnes’ face.
Here she is with her friend Big Ears! (click the image to see big).

Changes for the Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary website May 1, 2006

After a period of prolonged problems with the previous management system running behind the scenes on the Sanctuary website, we decided to cut our losses and move to the well regarded and much tested Wordpress system. As a result of this, there will be some changes on the site. First off, as you will no doubt have noticed, we have a new, cleaner style. You can now leave comments about any news item you read here, so long as we’ve made it open to commenting. This will make for a faster, more fluid method of communication between us and you. You can also subscribe to the latest headlines with the fast-growing web technology RSS, which is well supported by Google, Yahoo, AOL etc - you may have seen the little orange logo appearing around the internet on sites you visit; it’s down on the bottom of the sidebar here. It should be easier to find your way around in general, too. There’s also new message boards and image galleries (not fully populated with all the old pictures yet, but it is underway).
We’ll be adding new features as we go, and all the other existing content has been carried over, so you can ignore as much or little of the new stuff as you like.
We hope you enjoy using the new Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary website. Feel free to start commenting on posts, and do let us know if anything isn’t working for you.
