Back at last! February 28, 2005
Posted by Jonny Mitchell in : Old News , add a commentFirstly, please accept our apolologies for the extended downtime of the
website–as is often the way, several unexpected problems presented
themselves at various stages though the changeover.
So, on to business. We hope you like the new design, and find it
straighforward, and most importantly, useful. As well as the visual
changes, there are several new additions, not least of which are the
registration features: simply register using the link on the bottom
left, and you are signed up to all elements of the site–you can submit
news and links to us, post on the message board, and receive important
updates. We’ll continue to add new features to
try to improve your web experience with the Sanctuary. Please be aware
that things are still a little rough around the edges in places, but we
thought it better to get the site back up and running at 90% than leave
it offline any longer.
Look out for a lot of news items over the next few days, as well as
further explanations of the new features. Thanks for your patience, and
here’s to a successful year for the sanctuary, and the animal populace
of Northern Ireland.

Eight pups urgently in need of homes February 25, 2005
Posted by Jonny Mitchell in : Old News , add a commentWe have just received a litter of 8 Staffordshire Bull Terrier pups, 5
weeks old. They will be staying with their mother for another 3 weeks,
and by that stage we hope to have homes lined up for them all.
If you feel you would like to offer any of these pups a loving home,
please get in touch as soon as possible. If you wish to know any more
about the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed, contact John at the
Sanctuary.
